Dear Kat:

I agree with you completely.  I danced with a Polish
girl, Sylvia, a few months ago, who went barefoot at a
milonga because she fogot to bring her high heels.
She was a terrific tango dancer anyway. Her soul was
in the dance. It is the ironies that make life
interesting.
